Panicked in vain;

In Matthew 14:28, Peter Panicked

“Lord, if it is You,” Peter replied, “command me to come to You on the water.” 29“Come”, said Jesus. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus. 30.But when he saw the strength of the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”…

When Peter realized that he was walking on water, he panicked and probably asked himself the following questions;

Has anything like this ever been done before?

What will my family say?

What if I sink?

For a moment, Peter ,forgot that the Creator  of heavens and earth was standing, right in front of him.

He had forgotten that Jesus had  invited him to step out of the boat.

Taking the  first step was good enough.

Step out and let Him hold your hand.

               Could it be  that God is inviting you out of your boat?

                               What is holding you back?

He calmed the storm to a whisper…Psalms 107:29
